Bushes...... the same old story

Recommended Posts

Ok I have looked on the search and there is loads of info about bushes whether OEM is better than poly at the rear depending on comfort/handling preferences etc.

What I really want to know is firstly are powerflex any good better/worse than VT? Trying to decide what to go for??

Secondly do they vary across the range, do I need to specify VR6. Poweflex have 2 different part numbers for the rears at the same price with no explaination as to why. Also the rear kit comprises only of rear beam mounting bushes, anything else I need at the rear?

Discuss?

Seeing how low your VR is mate, it's clear ride comfort isn't your number 1 priority :-)

The general consensus on poly is it's fine the majority of the time for the majority of people. I had some polys in mine for a short period but took them out as I didn't like them, but that's just me.

The VT bushes are expensive, much more so than Powerflex, but their approach is different to that of Powerflex's. Horses for courses.....

That's where im getting the rears from but the front kit I think is gonna work out cheaper from Awesome.
