Schrick: Should I have removed my intake temp sender?

As above, have sold my schrick, but have a big hole where what I think is the intake temp sender screws in. Should I have removed it from the schrick?

Is that at the front right of the engine bay near the battery? If so then yeah...

Cheers, I kinda guessed that would be the answer.

 

Oh well, have to wait a few more days to get it back to send it to the bodyshop.
