VR6 0 Posted March 19, 2006 I'd kill myself on a bike. Decided that (if I make it that far), I'm going to get one at 40 as my mid-life crisis. Although technically, the odds of me living until 80 once I've bought one will be significantly reduced!!
tarche2 0 Posted March 19, 2006 lol! Yeah the born again bikers do worry me!!! I have just done a run to brighton for some pioneer run all basically pushbikes with engines. But the older bikers seem to be lethal about 6 nearly had me off today just on the way to brighton!!!
PhatVR6 0 Posted March 19, 2006 everyone says they're scared of bikes. can't see the problem myself. I'd only ridden mine for a week and I went to the sle of man TT! what a fantastic experience. The worst thing about bikes..........is cars. People just don't look out for bikers.
VR6 0 Posted March 19, 2006 Paul - that's what my predicted death is based on, the TT course!!!

CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted March 19, 2006 Was going to get the gsxr 1000 but don't use the blade enough to justify it,probably will sell the blade and go on holiday... 8)
tarche2 0 Posted March 20, 2006 but the blade is a better built bike they are like tanks hardly ever go wrong and last forever!!!
bcstudent 0 Posted March 20, 2006 People definitely put too much faith in the opinions of the motorcycle magazines. There's absolutely bugger all to choose between any of the litre-class bikes on the road and, even on the track, a great deal of the performance is untappable by the average rider. Me included. I sold my 2005 R1 last year and bought a 2004 DR-Z400 instead. The DR-Z struggles to top a ton but it's more fun on the roads around here than the R1 ever was. I miss the power occasionally but not often.
tarche2 0 Posted March 20, 2006 to be honest my zx7r is the best bike I have ever had! and I have had a few! Fair amount of torque great speed handles amazing! Only let down is its weight but that is why it handls so well!
