Now im at the point of taking the disc of, the lil screw that holds the disc in place wont come out (its rounded of :oops: ) if I drill it out will I need to replace it??? quicky1980 0 Posted March 27, 2006 ive had this before, first try hammering a hex bolt into it (star shape thing) this may enable you to turn the screw. if not then drill it out. The only reason the screww is there is to keep the wheel bolt holes in place so making it easier to change the wheel. Ice White Socks 0 Posted March 27, 2006 The 'proper' tool for the job is an impact driver. This is just a screwdriver that you place over the screw and hammer the back- the force of the hammer is converted into a twist whilst also pushing right into the screw.
