first g60 0 Posted April 8, 2007 hey ive just had a similar problem with my g60 and after lots of messing around with lots of things from lots of advice from lots of people that know lots of things about chuf all........... ive finnallllyyyy got to the problem source try the following items. 1. timing 2. bolts on the dizzy camshaft 3. small pipe going from fuel preshure reg to manifold 4. sensor pipe going from ecu to the manifold 5. breather pipe also next to above on the manifold which goes across the engine to a black plastic something 6. check the earth straps on the gearbox to the engine and also the earth strapson the water outlet on the right hand side of the head 7. if this doesnot work then light the exess fuel with a match on a dark night with plenty of friends and have a jolly dance round the fire. i changed all the above as my car was a bitch to start from cold and was running stupidly rich to the point it smelt like i had an open fuel contaner on my lap......... it now runs sweat and returning 32 to the gallon :D Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
