redcorrado 0 Posted April 16, 2006 i have had coilovers fitted to my vr6 golf a while ago and noticed that when the garage fitterd them i saw a few specks of rush near the turret ,now i want to undo the top front suspension to get to it ,i tried undoing the nut but the whole lot spins ,is there a special tool. sciroccotune 0 Posted April 16, 2006 sort of, basically you need to hold the inner strut with an alan key (7mm iirc) and use tool os some sort to undo the nut. a deep necked spanner will normally do the trick or a o2 probe socket works too Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

redcorrado 0 Posted April 16, 2006 cheers thanks,i dont have a place for the allen key as its got coilovers and so has a small nut instead ,however where can i buy the ring spanner halfords ? any idea what size and importantly will i losea ny suspension settings ?
