CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted April 22, 2006 The intake pipe to charger are different, more tighter on the Corrados as me and Chris found out.But apart from that they are the same.

CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Its a straight swap for your motor, besides the wiring as you need the Brain + Engine loom to use Later management as its OBD2
double-6s 0 Posted April 22, 2006 It comes with full loom, ecu, etc mate.
double-6s 0 Posted April 22, 2006 what does a stage 2 kit cost new??
CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Stage two kit would be over 3k !! So your getting the lot cheaper then
double-6s 0 Posted April 22, 2006 holy cow! i would be getting the whole lot as listed above mate, oh and with a rebuilt box and sports clutch, but its expensive. more than 3k. but the engine is rebuilt and the charger only has 4k on it. both under warranty. double-6s 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Any way of telling from the pics, or otherwise, if its stage 2? There are receipts but i haven't seen em yet. was done by raj at ns racing.
W3RKD 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Get it brought ...
corradovr6sc 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Stage 2 should have redtop injectors and I think the pulley should be a anodised a different colour than stage 1 (but not always). The race bypass valve in the pic suggests its stage 2. Stage 1 should come with an ordinary Bosch black plastic dv.
double-6s 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Get it brought ... hmmm.......... keep thinking 24v and r32 though mate
Trig 0 Posted April 23, 2006 Buy it mate, you were always going on about 12v before, here's your chance! OBD2 Schrick manifold & cams, supercharged... Will be a bit of a job getting it all in there though...

bigpants baby 0 Posted April 23, 2006 24v is the way to go
Chris VR6nos 0 Posted April 23, 2006 There is plenty of power to come from the old 12v and is cheaper to do at the moment as the 24v engines are still well expensive and the one of chouce is the R32 else you could do a 1.8T conversion, i've heard that there's some over 400bhp, thelad that works at Stealth says his should deliver 450bhp when finished, we'll wait and see if that rings true mind! double-6s 0 Posted April 23, 2006 To be honest mate I'd rather pull all my own teeth with no painkillers than stick a 4 cylinder lump in my C :)

Chris VR6nos 0 Posted April 24, 2006 Same here! My VR lump is feeling old now and chatters for a full 15mins with piston slap until warm. The economy is getting worse though it always starts in the morning regardless of weather and still does the clock but it's defintally getting tireder so a change will need to be happening soon.
