Johnboy98 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Found out the hard way today that they have changed the supplier for fuel pumps. I dropped the tank and removed said pumpage and to my dismay realised that the one supplied is not the same as the original (peiburg I think) Not only that, the float is a different mounting and wiring slightly different on the new VDO units. The Steeler's couldnt apologise enough when I rang to get em some grief and apparantley theres a note on screen telling them to advise the customer of the change....needless to say i got naf all warning so though you peeps might appreciate it if your on the market for a new one!
