cymru-corrado 0 Posted May 14, 2006 not sure if this is a problem to worry about or not. Went to get fuel today, car warmed up to normal temps got stuck in abit of 2nd gear crap though, so oil temp rose to 96-98, nothing major to worry about water was at 90 and fan coming on when needed. When i was near home though could smell burning oil and my car was slightly smoking, I let it cool down for abit then started it and exhaust was just letting out normal volume of fumes. could this just be down to hot temps or is it something to do with car? car is 1.8 16v.
