I'm upsetting the S3 forum members.

How long until you begin modifing the S3 then Lee ?

 

not sure, i've fitted chromed dial rings and its booked in for the lightest shade of window tints. Not planning on doing too much as the C is the project car. The S3 can't compete in the looks and presence dept so it will be a very tidy OEM+ I'm borrowing my friends ramps over the weekend to clean the underside. Suspension and ARBs to follow and that will do.

Lee you have awesome dedication to the corrado and it's great really, you choose one of VAG's last sports coupe over a much newer VAG power machine :)

 

(Doh I have to wait for validation to veiw that page!)

What's going on then? I tried logging on but seems too much of a ball ache creating an account and waiting 24 hours to read a few posts.

 

I bet the old 4WD v FWD debate is in there somewhere isn't it? :-)

 

The C doesn't need much defending anyway as it has universal appeal and it was well loved in it's hey day.

Seems a fairly amicable thread by and large.

 

One chap is going on about the Rado being a passat coupe. But what is the S3 if it isn't a MK4 Golf? It just has a different price tag and overcoat.

 

The only part the Corrado shares with the Passat is the dashboard shell. The rear axle, axle bushes and front end running gear are all Golf.

kev, i have a passat/corrado bodywork factory manual and theres a lot of similarities/ identical parts
