Design and Build Exhaust system for 16v

i"ve got an idea for a project that I'm about to embark upon and require a bit of input.

 

I need to replace a suitcase muffler...So While i'm at it why don't I revamp the Whole system.

Currently i have 4 devices in the exhaust system. the rear bos...the suitcase muffler..and two silencers...they all look to be factory.

 

What I intend to do is Leave the front silencer..and the 2nd silencer...remove the suitcase muffler entirely and run the pipe through to the rear box.

 

 

OR....and this is where it gets interesting

 

Do the Whole lot from the manifold down. 2.25 in..merging into one...a bit longer than what is already there..have a coby.2.25in to where the Suitcase is now...Replace that with a coby...and then into the rear box.

 

Does any one have any pictures of their exhaust system that They have done, that I can use for some inspiration/ideas...go on...show us ya fancy miltek system...or better yet..your hoem made job.

 

now before you ask WHY?...i've got a bit of time coming up...need a project, and fancy working on my Welding skills.
