stingman123 0 Posted June 8, 2006 Hi, Just a quick one, does the power steering fluid go in the grey cylinder by the battery?Its a VR6 by the way If not, wha goes there, its near empty. what damage can I have caused by running this down? Crasher 3 Posted June 9, 2006 Yes, it goes in the cylinder next to the battery and the VR6 uses green mineral fluid, not ATF. If it’s low you have a leak and usually that’s the main pressure feed hose from pump to rack. Running it low can damage the pump and could catch you out, if the assistance failed all of a sudden.
