ReekieVR 0 Posted August 4, 2006 Know what you mean blackcat. my current to-do list is new aux water pump, new oil cooler, repair inner drive shaft cv boot, possible new fuel pump, possible new top mount, new exhaust, gonna try to do a few of them myself to save a few bob, but a lottery win would be most usefull ! blackcat 0 Posted August 17, 2006 Ok, this noise has been getting progressively worse recently so much so that yesterday, my other half refused to drive it anywhere except to a garage. :( So we dropped it off this morning and they have just rang to say the bearings need replacing as the original bearings must have been faulty :x , plus it needs a new top mount. So all in all, not too expensive and should be good as new this afternoon :D
double-6s 0 Posted August 17, 2006 Top moints seem to be fairly common cause of wierd noises up front. And the noise on mine didn't seem to come from the top mount area at all! Hope it's all sorted out for you :)
