villie 0 Posted June 11, 2006 after the england match yesterday.... i got in my car to go home. As i started to drive off, i heard some weird noise while turning... a sort of whine and I lost all power steering.... I turned round the corner and found some sort of liquid in the driver's footwell. I called the AA. The dude initially looked at the liquid and thought it was clutch fluid, because of its color. It wasnt red or green but clear. I looked in the PAS resevoir and it was empty. Coz of my level of AA cover I could only get it towed 10miles. So instead, I asked the dude to remove the PAS belt. Is this a MAJOR problem? I know without someone having a look its difficult to say. But has anyone seen or heard of someone with this problem??

Supercharged 2 Posted June 11, 2006 I've no idea how PAS fluid could make it inside the car... think that must be a co-incidence... I would top up the res with the correct green fluid and look for leaks... Running with the belt off - more likely to do you some harm i'd say, especially when the fluid is cold, you'll build up your muscles fairly quickly!
