nesalc 0 Posted July 1, 2006 On the lookout for a Corrado VR6 and currently have my eyes on a 92 model and 95 model. Is there any reasons why I should not go for the 92 model besides the chains in the engine? Have there been any faults in the early VR6 models which is fixed in a 94 or 95 model? Thanks, Claus
vr6storm 0 Posted July 1, 2006 the only differences between the 92 and 95 will be 92-distributer equipped,90mm front spoiler, possible early interior,colour-coded rear Corrado badge 95-coil-pack equipped,50mm front spoiler, later interior,ECU/ign switch immobiliser(tho this might be a UK-only thing),chrome rear Corrado badge as for the chains the 95 could be needing them more than the 92 it can depend on how the car has been treated too,as much as age
nesalc 0 Posted July 1, 2006 thanks for the info. how about the anti-spind below 15 mph feature, do all vr6's have this? /Claus
dr_mat 0 Posted July 2, 2006 If by that random collection of letters "anti-spind" you mean the EDL traction control ;) yes, afaik all VR6s had the same ABS setup, which includes EDL traction control. Not that it's very effective.
