chrishill 0 Posted September 23, 2003 Will a PCD of 98 fit my 1990 16v? i know C's are PCD 100 but surely its not far off?
Majik 0 Posted September 23, 2003 LOL if make the hole bigger in the hubs, than maybe! : :D Right the holes for a pcd 4/100 are going to be 100 mm apart now the holes on 4/98 are 98 mm apart so the 4/100 have a slightly bigger diameter, the PCD are made to precision that even a PCD 98 wont fit PCD4/100. Are you looking to fit mgf wheels or something?

Fine wine, Belgian chocs. 1 Posted September 23, 2003 No need to 'force' them to fit. Any decent alloy wheel dealer will be able to supply you some wobble bolts. These fit using a 'floating' washer instead of a fixed taper seat and have 1mm movement in each bolt so the 2mm difference in pcd is no problem. Most alloy wheel stockists only keep the 4/100 pcd now and fit them to Fiat/Alfa (4/98pcd) using these bolts. As long as the centre bore fits the hub perfectly or can be made to fit the hub by using spigot rings then there's no problem.
