Leavon 0 Posted July 16, 2006 The car has taken to beeping the horn when I make right hand turns, which is reeeeeeally embarassing! Could anyone tell me how to disconnect the horn until I can get it to a garage later in the week? I'm guessing that disconnecting the fuse (which also runs the Radiator fan run on) would be a bad thing in this weather? Cheers, L.
dinkus 10 Posted July 16, 2006 It sounds the like the contacts in the steering wheel boss just need bending back. If you've got a Momo wheel it's probably a big collection of allen head grub screws.
Leavon 0 Posted July 16, 2006 Cheers Dinkus I'll give that a try, it is a momo wheel and that has been a problem in the past but that was the horn button not working. I tried disconnecting the horn button to see if that would break the circuit but to no avail, I'll have the wheel off tomorrow and see if the copper ring is the prob. cheers, L.
