charliepackman 0 Posted July 24, 2006 Hi! My rad blew over the weekend and I've got a new one. Just wondering if anyone can give me any tips on changing the rad before I attempt it this evening. Seems fairly straight forward but I've heard that there is a risk of getting an airlock if it's not blead properly? Any input would be really appreciated. Cheers guys. VR6 0 Posted July 24, 2006 The search is one of the best places to start. Try something like: VR6 AND radiatior AND replac* or VR6 AND radiator AND chang*

contender 0 Posted July 24, 2006 I recently change my rad. Ended up removing bumper headlights and loosening top crossmember ( where bonnet latch locates) Once you have clear access the job is not too bad.
charliepackman 0 Posted July 24, 2006 Ahh! thought it might be possible to do it just by removing the top crossmember? In that case I'll probably send it into a garage. Only got about an hour to do it. Cheers.
