Stan 24v 0 Posted August 12, 2006 1 thing though, you have to take the front seats out to get the tunnel off! :) I had mine out today, but no removal of the seats at all
gsbellew 0 Posted August 12, 2006 Matting base will sort the shine aspect. Texture additive will give texture. Plastic primer will prevent paint peeling. Simple. its all tried and tested, I work in a coachbuilders, we have painted plastic trim items countless times and have never had a problem getting them to match existing items. On the vibration aspect, Wurth do an anti squeek felt its self adhesive and is used to prevent plastic items from rubbing together and squeeking / causing rattles, could be worth looking into. As for black screws, they are readily available, well I can get them anyway, used them on my last Corrado to replace any missing screws, you could actually just screw the plastic parts together using black self tappers and speed clips, then you would avoid drilling holes in the body of the car. As for the question of if any don't, my new one appears to have survived 100% intact
