Baz2004 0 Posted August 7, 2006 Having a slight bit of trouble with my 16V. It’s tends to get a bit jumpy on lift-off over 3000rpm. I’m thinking it could be timing has anyone had a similar problem?
mistrall 0 Posted August 8, 2006 what do you mean by jumpy?
Baz2004 0 Posted August 8, 2006 The car acts like its low on fuel, it could be the fuel pump but its pulling well, no hesitation when accelerating.
s.g 0 Posted August 8, 2006 if its when you first set off under hard acceleration check all the engine mounts. try giving the engine a good push to see if it will move (making sure its turned off and cold)
