Nick 0 Posted September 20, 2006 ^^^^bump. I know it goes to the starter motor, but there are a couple connections and im not sure exactly where they go. Also, how is the alternator spring tensioner attached? If someone could spare 5 mins to take a pic, i will gladly return the favour/buy a beer. Blue_Joe 0 Posted September 20, 2006 I presume talking about a spring tensioner you must have a G60! The thick power cable is to the starter motor, there is one other connection which is a thin wire which is the ignition light that connects to a single pin connector plug near the starter motor (blue wire, big black plug on the end that then disappears into the wiring loom. The spring tensioner attached to the alternator/bracket via a bolt with 2 threads on it one either side of a hex head.
