How to remove dog hairs from the Seats/carpet?

Recommended Posts

Some of you may be aware that my Storm is in the for sale section. Not too fussed with it selling now as I've managed to buy myself a nice cheap car that has lots of room for shopping, pushchairs and luggage.

The only problem is that the last owner had a dog that has left dog hairs all over the car seats and carpet...with so many of these car valet places opening up around the Birmingham area, I thought I'd hand it in to one for the clean up. Charged me £50. Car is a lot cleaner but the hairs on the carpet and seats are still there. That dog must of gone bald and lost all it's hair in the dam car.

Does anybody have any tips on HOW TO remove pet hairs from seats/carpets???

Please help!!!

you can buy sticky pads for that specific purpose which work well. You can also buy a really fine comb that you can take them out with

Ive seen a sticky roller thing that you clean by running a tap on it.

Its from Lakeland and they do the sticky pads as well

You need one of these :)

The problem is that pet hair actually takes root in upholstery :gag:

when you use sticky tape, wrap it back to front round your hand, easier than a brush and more effective. just a thought in case you were thinking of sticking it all over the seats.....................lol

Lakeland is a kitchen and household goods shop.most high streets

Have fun

Hi m8,if you click the above pic,i have them listed on the site.

Should have some in stock day after tommorow. :) These purpose made...brushes collect the hair,or at the very least loosen it.

No probs m8 :)

if you have some rubber gloves...(steady  ) stick em on and then brush your hand across the material.Probably not as effective on the carpet...

The removal brush we sell is what the trade use,so it does do the job if need be.

Neil. :)
