MikeVR6 0 Posted October 8, 2003 I believe these are a simple straight swap for my existing rubber pedal covers. Is this correct? or is there slightly more to it? Thanks Mike
vr6storm 0 Posted October 8, 2003 i think there is just a small bit of "modification" needed but can't remember off -hand........but Skid's ex-C owning neighbour had them in his 1.8 16v over 2 years ago
MikeVR6 0 Posted October 28, 2003 Apparently the pedals from a LHD TT are what's needed. RHD accelerator pedals don't fit UK spec Corrados So, I need the part no/s for a set of LHD Audi TT pedals if anyone can help? Maybe G60Jet since he's in Spain? Cheers Mike
dan 0 Posted October 28, 2003 Mike The accelerator pedal does need some modification. You'll need to cut about 12mm off the length of the accelerator pedal. I used a jigsaw to do mine, the metal is quite soft so a hacksaw would do the job in about 10mins. Make sure you cut to the inside of the accelerator pedal as this will then leave a slightly wider gap between it & the brake pedal, which imo is better I bought mine from Awesome for £22. dubster82 0 Posted October 28, 2003 dan, thats why your meant to but the lhd ones, different length on the accelarator pedal.....
G60Jet 1 Posted October 28, 2003 okay had this one before the LHD sets a RHD set are different, basically the LHD Gas pedal foot pad is bigger than the RHD one cos of the Wheel arch on the RHD models So you need to order the RHD set, many ppl got them off Ebay or part numbers from websites were they listed LHD parts. I've got the long gas pedal i'll take a pic off it tomorrow. I'm also ordering the Audi TT footrest.

G60Jet 1 Posted October 28, 2003 I read an email/post about 18months ago and i remember that the conclusion was that the part numbers were wrong and you do infact need RHD parts for a RHD car. the only thing i can think of is compare the Corrado LHD and RHD gas pedel rubber part. As you can see in the top post they are LHD sets pictured. There are 3 LHD pedals for the C and only 2 RHD ones according to the parts CD 191 723 509 LHD man Alternative part 191 721 559 357 721 509 LHD Auto Alternative part 191 723 559 3A1 721 511 LHD ??? Auto with crusie control maybe?? No Alt part 358 721 509 A RHD Auto Alternative part 191 723 559 3A2 721 509 A RHD ???? No Alt Part basically the part numbers are from different chassis numbers, but i dont know if the foot plates are the same size. I know the RHD pedal set has a smaller Gas pedal cover so what size is the RHD Gas Pedal? It is my understanding the pedal is infact smaller than the LHD one. G60Jet 1 Posted October 28, 2003 I thought TT pedal set were old had now and everyone was ordering the R32 ones

Valver 0 Posted October 29, 2003 You definitely need the LHD TT acc pedal for a RHD car as it is smaller as stated before. Also, for the other two pedals you need 2x TT clutch pedals to fit your clutch/brake pedals.... HTH
dan 0 Posted October 29, 2003 dan, thats why your meant to but the lhd ones, different length on the accelarator pedal..... Heres mine, fitted in 15 minutes... its really not difficult
