Water Injection Cooling or Aqua

Recommended Posts

I know Aquamist is good but its pricey.

Anyone running cooling mist, and if so how do you rate it??

I've read that all these systems are effective, but its pump failure that lets the cheaper ones down.

Aquamist = £300

Coolingmist = £105 delivered from the US of A. :shock:

Whos tried the Coolingmist then??

Cheers guys and gals

CorradoVR6SC used to have cooling mist and didn't like it.

RadostormVR6 used to have cooling mist, then bought my old Aquamist kit.

Draw your own conclusions :lol:

Aquamist is pricey because it's the best, and they know that, so charge top dorrar. There aren't currently any competitors that can match it, so the price is staying artificially high for the time being. It's a very small market as 95% of forced induction users have intercooling, so don't need the mist....so whilst there is low demand, don't expect prices to drop any time soon!

Cooling mist uses a cheap diagphram pump and Aqua uses a considerably more expensive but better, smaller, and more reliable race spec piston pump.

I've told you this about 100 times already anyway :roll: :lol:

I'm using - well have installed bu not running get the Aquamist 1d self mapping system. Costs about £500 plus I bought the display system aswell. But the kit although not the easiest to install is of the absolute highest quality!

I used to run cooling mist on my g60 and found it a very good kit however it doesn't look as well made as the aquamist kit and the pump is much larger so cant be as easily installed, I think the coolingmist pumps look much stronger than the aquamist kits.
