Supercharged 2 Posted November 8, 2006 First of all take the GSF kits back and buy decent ones from a SFK dealer or VW... Are you doing the brake discs too? (It's normally advisable as they wear at roughly the same rate as bearings - life expectancy is 80-120k miles) Has your car got ABS?
leigha 0 Posted November 8, 2006 are the GSF ones bad then? i thought about changing the rear disks but to be honest, they only have a very very small amount of wear and are in tip top condition with none of the usual corrosion from the edges etc so i'll leave them, unless the bearings are a real pig to get out! the car doesn't have ABS, which is a pity as it's not just a pure performance machine and does 95% of its milage with the kids on board.
