just fitted a magnex exhaust with a miltek cat bypass, eventually got it all to fit, and it sounds pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

its got 3 silencers and the cat bypass silencer! it sounds wet!

 

what can i do?

 

would it sound it better if i took one of the silensers out and put a straight through pipe on or am i wasting more money?!??!?!?!

Did that with my g, got a company to make me a straight through pipe instead of the middle box, cost about 100 quid. Only made a difference on full throttle, but god does it sound good now.

it soundds really crap at the min, so if i get rid of middle box u rekon it shud sound ok?

I've got only one supersprint rear box,that's it,no cat ect...sounds normal,but on full throttle....its a different animal altogether !!!

No, i've got a cat bypass, straight through middle box and a supersprint rear box i thought a car had to have more than that but the guy said it was alright and it passes the mot.

 

Do it mate I think you'll be suprised at the difference it makes.

booked it into powerflow thursday to get the centre silencer took out, should sound better then hopefully

 

better description of what it sounds like at the minute : a constant wet fart!

LOl I am doing the same. Will be just the silenced decat and with a supersprint backbox!

what do u think i shud do then? im not sure, ive got 3 silencers and 1 cat bypass with silencer? shall i take 1 or 2 out?

Remove the largest silencer. Usually the one just before the rear beam. Or remove both :wink:
