2L 16V wont start ..... Its been in the garage for 2 weeks..

This Rados gona get torched !

As the weather got cold my 1994 2L 16V started cutting out in the mornings. It started on the button but but if you took your foot off the gas it cut out. By the time i got to the end of the road it would run but the revs were a bit low and after 1-2 miles it was spot on. I could then leave it all day with no problem. Once warm it ran spot on !

This started to bug me so i took it to the garage to get sorted. First off they changed the Lambda sensor and a split hose but when i got it back it was worse than ever and the next morning failed to start at all. It turned over but wouldnt catch. After getting it towed back to the garage they have changed the Injectors, ISV, tried a second hand metering unit and are now looking at replacing the Presure Actuator... This is getting expensive. Im probably going to borrow the pressure regulator of another rado so at least i dont have to pay to try it.

Is there anything obvious they could have missed, they say they have done a fuel pressure test which was fine.

Now once it starts it runs fine and will start again but when cold it is a pig taking a few goes to get it going... i was thinking non return valve in the fuel line or pump or similar. Interested to hear any theorys ! !

Ive been 2 weeks without it now and its not looking like getting sorted any time soon !
