Heated Seats Help Needed

How can I check if my heated seats work without a loom? Before I go and invest in getting a loom made I want to make sure that the seat elements work as they should. Any ideas would be appreciated. I also need 2 heated seat relays if anyone has any spare.

Can you not link up a 12v supply (id imagine thats what theyd run on) to the point where the looms attaches and see if they heat up??

I dont think youd fry anything. Worth a try and if you feel its gonna go wrong kill the power.

yeah my drivers seat one doesnt work let me know how you check it in the end mate either by 12v power supply or sumfin else!!

Jon_vr6, CAN YOU HEAR THE RELAY CLICK BEHIND THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR QUARTER PANEL WHEN YOU TURN THE DRIVERS SEAT ON ?

Jon_vr6, worth a look mate , there are two seperate elements for the back and the seat but they run together so if one goes the other doesnt work either , plug your pssenger seat into your drivers or vice versa , this will tell you if the seat or the wiring is the problem

VR6 South, do a search mate , i have put a post up a while ago with correct wiring for the seat and which wires carry what to the seats
