Fitting vr pistons

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Myself and a friend are rebuilding a VR, and having now got the block back from the machine shop, the next stage is to fit the pistons. With the cylinders being at an angle to the block face, I'm imagining it's going to be a more difficult exercise than fitting would be with perpendicular bores.

Does anyone know of recommended techniques?

Any helpful suggestions would be really appreciated....... before we start snapping rings, and scoring bores  :D

Cheers,

John.
