Blown 0 Posted October 13, 2003 I'm beginning to think that my car is haunted.It does strange things occasionally. I was driving home this evening,on a road I know extremely well,when I went over a small hump.Nothing odd in that,except that after going over said hump,the stereo went quiet and the headlights dimmed for about one second,then everything came back to life and carried on as normal.No faults since. :scratch: Any ideas? Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 13, 2003 I'm with Roddy on the battery terminal. There have been reports of Corrados cutting out going round bends! The negative lead on mine was way too loose, no matter how hard I tightened the bolt. Remove the neg lead, sand the battery post, stick some copper grease on it, undo the clamp bolt fully, knock the clamp on the battery post with a rubber mallet and then retighten the clamp.
