ravaling 0 Posted January 20, 2007 so does anyone know if tsr are up and running yet
Walesy 0 Posted January 20, 2007 I'm not sure, but out of interest, why would you want to use them if they were?
CazzaVR 0 Posted January 20, 2007 Will take them a looooong time to get back any credibility. If they are trying to start again, they'd be better off with a name change for starters. That probably wouldn't help that much either.
Jim 2 Posted January 20, 2007 I think its going to be difficult for companies that go under like this, to come back again thanks to the internet and enthusiast clubs like this. All it takes is one member on a forum to post about a bad experience (as many people did when TSR went bust!) and then everyone on the forum knows about it. Good luck to them I suppose - was a great name once!
Walesy 0 Posted January 20, 2007 I think if Tim Stiles started again then he'd have no trouble getting things going as he has a great reputation AFAIK - whereas that can't be said for the guys that ran it into the ground. Try RK Engineering in St Agnes if you're looking for a specialist in the SW matey.
_Monkey 0 Posted January 20, 2007 There's a better place in Bridgwater for VAG tuning anyway.

The_Dude 0 Posted January 20, 2007 All i get is loads of stuff on Telemarketing Sales Rules! I take it TSR is the wheel company that used to make the highly popular Blades back in the day.
ravaling 0 Posted January 20, 2007 no mate they where back in the day a very good tuning company
Supercharged 2 Posted January 20, 2007 Corradude, lol - thats TSW mate! TSR was originally Tin Stiles Racing which in it's day was a small outfit and had a reasonable reputation in the VAG tuning scene... Since he sold it tho it became a bit of a shambles and i've heard nothing but compaints over the last 3 years... I'd say good luck to the guys trying to re-launch it but as above I think the reputation is so far lost that they really ought to start with a new name... steve_16v 0 Posted January 20, 2007 The original thread on here about it http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43539

Cheers for the info Supercharged. I agree totally, if the company now has such a bad rep it would make so much more sense to come up with a new name. After all, its harder to change a bad name than start afresh.
