Supercharged 2 Posted January 24, 2007 Afraid so... altho i've often wondered if it's posible with spring compressors in situ...
bishoprado 0 Posted January 24, 2007 yeah ive wondered the same, now taking the shocks off aint a prob. Problem being lukin in Haynes manual its sayng you gota detach the steering tie-rod balljoint and messing with the anti roll bar. i dont fancy messing with that cos ill mess the tracking up cant i just slide the shock off? by undoing the required bolts? Supercharged 2 Posted January 24, 2007 Yeah the shocks come off the bearing carrier - no need to undo anything attached to it ie CV's, ARB's or BJ's
_leon_ 0 Posted January 25, 2007 as Supercharged has said - dont do what the haynes manual says - just the 2 bolts and 1 for abs if you have it. reckon you could do them in situ but dont think its too much trouble to take the shocks off entirely.
