Recommended Posts

Hi,

Does anyone know where the fuel cut off switch is located? We had a look at the garage trying to get my car started again and couldnt find it anywhere?

Cheers,

Andy

Ive found info about a deceleration fuel cut off valve, is that not something to do with it?

Basically straight after my crash the car wouldnt start at all ,and I was told it was probably because of a fuel cut off system or something?

Any other ideas why it wont start? it doesnt even turn over, just nothing!

The fuel pump relay requires a signal from the ECU (basically, an earth) in order to trigger.

Check the earth on the relay.

That is implemented as a crash-cut-off. The ECU drops its earth which would deactivate the fuel pump.

Cheers man, ill have a look for it when I get home tonight, the garage should be dropping it off later, just thought itd be better to having a running car for sale than a non-runner!

Thanks again,

Andy
