G60SC_Stoney 0 Posted March 4, 2007 yeah thats where the filter is. costs next to nothing, and takes about 10 minutes to do.
MK1Campaign 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Is it a 16v? Sounds like a noisy fuel pump or knackered lift pump.
ace666 0 Posted March 4, 2007 its a 16v . this is going to seem odd but whats a lift pump ?
MK1Campaign 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Its lifts fuel out of the tank. If it wears out the main fuel pump becomes noisy as it is overworked.
ace666 0 Posted March 4, 2007 so would you recomend changing the fuel filter first then go from there.
MK1Campaign 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Yeh its a worth a go first. If it is the lift pump its not an expensive repair.
