horn works pass foglight

right i`ve got my car back but the horn doesnt work

relay 53 (rhs one as there is 2) above fuses 16, 17, 18 is clicking when i press the horn, any one know what this relay does

i`ve checked the fuse and thats fine!

 

any ideas as i`m crap with electrics

right plugged everything back in and the horn button turns on the pass fog and when i turn fogs on the horn goes

 

i`ve just had a new battery tray welded in so i`m assuming hes connected the wrong wires any1 know the colour of wires i should be looking for the fog? i`ve got the horn 1

yup, did the same myself on J-DUB with the indicator and fog lamp (I think it was, may have been the horn) :oops: :lol:

Yep, I've done that as well. Don't worry you're not the only one. Had that little voice in my head going "whats that noise then?" when I switched my fogs on.

ha, reminds me of when a mate and me wired his car stereo up after a beer or two, took a power feed, wired everything in and nothing....

 

searched and searched for the problem for ages, couldn't see anything wrong, so he decides he's gonna have a look under the dash, opens the door for more leg room, and the stereo starts!!!

 

we'd wired it off the interior light feed and not a permanent power feed :D

 

made a great car alarm though, whenever anyone opened the door :lol:
