Boost Return Delete Blanking Plate - Quick Question

OK, got the boost return delete mod and the blanking plate on the charger is just bolted on and I was wondering if there should be a gasket or some sealant on it to seal it properly? (well I guess a gasket as I spray lubricant every month and sealant would be a pain!!)
