Are all spoiler activation switches the same?

Hi

 

I just put a post up about my spoiler activation switch which appears to be mullered. It will make the spoiler go up but not down. :roll:

 

Does anyone know if the switches are the same for early and late interiors?

 

I have heard that they are different and I have heard that they are the same! So which one is it?

I think they are different - but don't quote me on that. I've had a 16v and the VR but haven't really noticed.

Are you referring to the manual activation or the actual automatic activation mechanism switch ?

As i put in the other thread both my late cars have ahd the same button while being different models...

Its clearly an early and late difference.

 

Son of a Beesting, i think i have a spare late switch, not sure though will have a look for you if you need one.
