eatthis 0 Posted April 21, 2007 i got a compression test today with an endoscope down the bores to see where the oil is goin (only smokey on overrun) results were 176-179 on 5 cylinders and 1 just made 175 i guess thats psi?? the bore with 175 had a cpl of light scratches from piston slap but not at all bad for 107k does the comp sound ok? valve stem seals have been replaced he strongly suggested valve guides does this sound likely? Supercharged 2 Posted April 21, 2007 So 175-179 on all 6  Sounds spot on to me, won't get much closer than that!!! What engine is it? if it's the SC VR I don't know what they are supposed to be as it's probably running lower compressions anyway??
double-6s 0 Posted April 21, 2007 If their all the same that must be a good thing? Oil on over-run is head isn't it?
