iggi 0 Posted May 11, 2007 hi. anybody got a clue what this could be. in any gear (or neutral), accelerating or holding same throttle, when my engine reaches 3750rpm, something is squealing from somewhere below the car, down back of downpipe, or gearbox area. when driving with the windows up it sounds ike its a brake type squeal, but it does it when stationary and you rev it! if i dont rev it high its fine, but as its a 1.8 valver i sometimes need to! just hopin its nothing serious starting. any ideas would be nice so i can sort it. cheers
