poll250 0 Posted May 15, 2007 I had my mot yesterday and they failed it on " steering column top bearing excessively worn" Basically you can wiggle the steering wheel up and down a bit much I guess, This only happens on one of the height settings, and as luck would have it thats what I left it in that day! So I took it apart and worked out where the movement comes from: Is there any way I can adjust this out or will I need a new part? and if so which one? There dont seem to be any bolts I can tighten or anything else. I'm quite tempted to just put it on a lower height setting and take it back saying I fixed it....... mattkh 0 Posted May 15, 2007 Hi Well done for the photo. Cannot see the pin in the hole near the arrow on the left. Can you lock it in one position.
