Toby 0 Posted February 13, 2003 What are G60 owners running and what are your experiences? :?: Plugs Apparently Bosch W6DPO are standard (platinum triple) ~ £9 ea Motorfactors want to sell me NGK BP6ET (non platinum triple) ~ £3 ea NGK list these or BPR6EVX (platinum single) £? However, also available are Beru W6DPO (Platinum? Triple?) ~ £6ea I'm inclined to give these a go...? Leads I remember hearing something about the correct (VW) leads all being equal length rather than aftermarket ones where #1 is longer than #2... Thoughts ? Jon TDI 0 Posted February 13, 2003 I'd tend to go for standard plugs & leads. The standard leads (Beru, I think) are not the same length for all 4. I maybe wrong , but last time I looked they seem to be different lengths. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
G60Jet 1 Posted February 13, 2003 Bosch platinum tipped plug (W6dpo) torque to 20NM (15ftlb) with a gap of .6-.7mm are the only plugs to use in a G60. and they last ages. As for Plug leads not to sure on what hot here as im wanting to change mine soon but i thing!! there is no point getting good plug leads unless the earth lead in the block is in good nick too!!
