Help needed! - South Manchester - 92 2.0L 16V - Air flow met

Please help

 

My 92 2.0L 16V Corrado is garaged at Sale Volkswagen (VW & Audi specialist just off M60 J7) with running problems, starts but cuts out etc, and the problem has been diagnosed as likely to be with the Fuel Metering Head or the Airflow Motor. We are trying to source 2nd hand parts but would love to meet up with somone who would allow a quick swap of parts in the garage to rule this in or out.
