Q. Is the Corrado 16v and Golf 16v suspension the same?

I have been offered some konis and they are for my mark 2 golf but the part number corresponds to the Corrado 16v suspension. Is there any difference between the two and if so what is it ?

They fit fine. The C weighs more though so the springs might be a bit stiffer.

Ok, so the corrado weighs in a few extra lbs so the springs are a little stiffer, but what about the height of the cars? Does the corrado sit the same height off the ground as the golf ? ie, will the height of the springs be any different between the corrado and the golf set up on the konis ?

More like a couple of hundred kilos. If you're talking about coilovers, you won't have a problem. Otherwise, the only way to find out is to try them.
