CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted September 16, 2007 any vag range with rear disc brakes aswell as later mk4 alloy calipers which work much better

juzza 0 Posted September 16, 2007 mk2 it is then thanks
DaveStorm 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Don't bother with Mk2, they'll eventually seize, go for Mk4.
diggerbucket 0 Posted September 16, 2007 mk2 are not the same as mk3! Well, not the same as the later mk3 ones anyway. If they have a big spring on them for the handbrake mech they are mk2 style and will seize. If the spring mech is internal they are mk3 style which is much better. juzza 0 Posted September 16, 2007 just got some mk4 x reg gti ones inc carriers £50 delivered hope thats a fair price do i need mk4 hoses or special ones thanks
Toad 0 Posted September 16, 2007 You will need mk4 adapter pipes from goodridge, contact c & r enterprises to buy a set. £50 is a good price...
Jim 2 Posted September 16, 2007 I got some 2nd hand MK4 calipers for 60 quid delivered and I was pleased with that so 50 is good :) You don't need the carriers.. you need to bolt the callipers to the existing carriers. And as Toady says, you will need a set of conversion hoses..
