misscove 0 Posted September 22, 2007 Hey All, I am having a problem. I have a 1990 G60. I have just re-built the engine, lotsa new stuff. Has been running fine for about a year. Now, it will not stay running. I can turn it over, there is spark, it stays running when the key is turned all the way to the starter position and catches fine, but as soon as I let go of the key; it dies completly......Any ideas??? I don't think that it is the ignition coil, or the fuel pump; but I am now at a loss....please help! thanks

nocrap 0 Posted September 23, 2007 Yeah if its happening when your letting go of the key i'd say definitely the ignition switch! Part number 6N0 905 865 Price £18.03 + VAT Buy a VAG one not a GSF one!
