g60kpj 0 Posted September 26, 2007 Hi,i turn the key the fuels going through and the engine makes a clicking sound asthough it wants to start but nothing else happens apart from a buzzing noise coming from the fuse box? I've checked all the fuses and swopped the relays with my other g60 but still no luck?
BeavisJem 0 Posted September 26, 2007 Check the lead from the starter motor to the battery, mine was dodgy and wouldn't start the car. Otherwise check the usual suspect - Ignition switch (£12 from VW i think) and check all the earth leads are in good condition. Beavisjem
Supercharged 2 Posted September 26, 2007 You need to look for 12V going down the red and black wire to the starter solenoid when the key is turned 12v = knackered starter solenoid 0v = Ignition switch, Alarm etc
