gollfy 0 Posted October 8, 2007 I have a 1992 2.0L 16V corrado and the temperature guage does not work, and Im running blind with only the oil temp as a guide. I have checked the condition of the wires and they seems ok and they are all connected Is there a simple way to check the temp guage without taking the dash clocks out? I know there is 3 or 4 sender units and how do I check these? Thanks all
nocrap 0 Posted October 8, 2007 Hello matey, the sender that you want to investigate is on the right side of the block and to the lower right of the water outlet....i think if you earth that contact the guage should rise (could be wrong on that one though). You can buy them for only a couple of quid from http://www.vwspares.co.uk, you need the 'one pin black' one.
