RIMnCHOP 0 Posted October 11, 2007 HELLO I NEED HELP PLEASE :? THE TOP HOSE TO THE RADITOR HAS JUST BLOWN OFF DUE TO A LOOSE JUBERLIE CLIP. THAT RESULTED IN WATER AND ANTIFREEZE FLOWWING OUT OF THE HOSE. IVE REFILLED WITH WATER AND ANTIFREEZ AND REPRESURED THE SYSTEM. BUT THE TEMPRETURE LIGHT KEEPS FLASHING AND WONT GO OFF?? BUT EVERYTHING IS WORKING NO OVERHEATING AND TEMPRETURE IS NORMAL. DOES THE LIGH NEED TO BE RESET OR SOMETHING AS MY MECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE ISNT VERY GOOD. dinkus 10 Posted October 11, 2007 The light is for coolant level, not temperature. Check that the level is between the min and max markings on the header tank. If it is, then it could be the plug for the sensor is loose/disconnected/full of water. Otherwise it could be the sensor (2 metal prongs in the header tank) is dead.
