taddy 0 Posted November 2, 2007 Hi all, Just a quick query, I was out last night in my G60 and was hammering it about playing against some pretty quick cars but once id calmed down and was mooching home i could hear a faint clicking noise, it was only when i put my foot on the accelerator. I thought it was a wheel at first but when i put it in 5th doing bout 35mph, i could really hear it. I was wondering if it sound like the tappets? Like i said it only happens when i put my foot down. What do you think is the best cure? Service? New Tappets? Cheers Alex L
steve @ 0 Posted November 2, 2007 IS the noise constant? and really depends on the noise. Could be any number of things really, how are your engine mounts?
