Rob_G60 0 Posted November 5, 2007 Hi all have a bit of a problem with my G60, the other week a snapped a bolt on the front engine mount which knocked my coil pack and the car cut out so we plugged it back in, but now the car revs funny, when i turn the car on it goes up to 2000rpm then dies down to about 1000 but goes up and down, i notice the coil pack has a crack in it would that cause this If not what could it be any help would be great cheers Rob Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

G60s dont have a coil pack. Did you hit the ignition coil on the bulkhead? If so you will probably need a new ignition coil as this will effect the spark quality if it is damaged.
